Week at a Glance 5/28-5/31 Last one of the school year!

Middle School P.E Class

SJA Families and Friends

The last days of school are upon us.  The end of the year brings with it mixed feelings - excitement for end of year celebrations, relief that comes with accomplishment, and perhaps a bit of somber reflection that comes with the end of anything.  All of us at SJA look back over the year with gratitude for good things that have happened.  Our staff has been particularly resilient, always giving their very best to students.  Our students should also be proud, many of them overcoming challenges and learning more than class lessons.  School is much more than the sum of its parts, afterall.  And at SJA we strive to cultivate a place that is filled with the hope and joy we have in the Gospel. Studying at a place that puts God and the Church first is very precious.  On top of that, our great Patron and Interssor, St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco, continues to be a great support to all of us gathering here in the Cathedral every day.  Because of these things we end this year the same way we began it, with hope.

Gratefully,

Nima Duncan
