Week at a Glance 5/5-6/9 Last Week of School!

Hello and welcome to the new week!

Welcome to an exciting and promising week ahead! This is the last week of school so let’s get some housekeeping items in order. Monday and Tuesday are high school finals. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and a healthy breakfast to succeed. Thursday will be the last day of school and the annual school cleaning event. In the evening, at 6 pm, our promotional ceremony, talent showcase, and the long-awaited drama production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Definitely a night not to miss!

Now let's look at what the week ahead is going to look like:

MONDAY:

4th/5th Grade Science Field Trip to California Academy of Science

High School Finals

TUESDAY:

High School Finals

4th/5th Grade English will complete their Shurley post-test and take home Bravo! folders

6th-8th Grade Math will have Year-End Test*

9th-11th Grade Math will have a Final on Geometry and Precalculus*

*All students are welcome to bring their Math Textbooks and Formulas laminated charts into Room 2 before tests

6-8th Grades Religion will be discussing The Parable Of The Tares (Matt 13:24–43), The Parable Of The Seed That Grows Invisibly (Mark 4:26–29), The Parable Of The Mustard Seed (Matt 13:31–32; Mark 4:30–32; Luke 13:18–19), The Parable Of The Leaven (Matt 13:33–35; Mark 4:33–34; Luke 13:20–21), The Parable Of The Treasure Hidden In The Field (Matt 13:44), The Parable Of The Pearl Of Great Price (Matt 13:45–46)

WEDNESDAY:

5th Grade English will present their "Theme in a Bottle" projects

THURSDAY: 

Last Rehearsal of the drama production

2023 Promotional Ceremony, Talent Show, and the drama production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
