Week at a Glance 5/22-5/26 Last week of School for Seniors!
Hello and welcome to the new week!
Welcome back to a new and wonderful week. This is the last week of school for our graduating seniors! Wish them the best on their finals 🥳 On Thursday is the Ascension of our Lord and we will be going to Holy Trinity Cathedral for service and having pizza in the park afterward. Please check your emails for further instructions!
Now let's look at what the week ahead is going to look like:
MONDAY:
2-3rd Grade will be making abstract self-portraits
2/5th Grade P.E. class will have a final game tournament
9/12th Grade Art will be finishing up Baroque art projects for the final presentation
12th Grade English will be finishing "Crime and Punishment," and beginning to work on final papers.
TUESDAY:
6th Grade English continues to explore themes of loyalty and family relationships in "Where the Red Fern Grows."
6-8th Grades Religion will be discussing Forgiving The Sinful Woman In The House Of Simon The Pharisee (Luke 7:36–50), Healing The Possessed Man And Rebuking The Pharisees For Blaspheming The Holy Spirit (Matt 12:22–37; Mark 3:20–30; Luke 11:14–23) and the Lord’s Answer To Those Who Sought A Sign From Him (Matt 12:38–45; Luke 11:24–26, 29–32)
9/10th Grade English explores the theme of marriage equality in "David Copperfield."
9-12th Grades Religion will discuss A Fierce Storm From Crete To Malta, The Wreck Of The Ship, The Salvation Of The Passengers By Swimming Ashore (27:14–44), The Continuation Of St Paul’s Journey To Rome. The Hospitality Of The Natives On Malta and The Viper That Caused Paul No Harm. Paul’s Healing Of Many Sick On The Island And The Continuation Of The Journey (28:1–14).
WEDNESDAY:
2nd Grade History will read about the labors of Heracles
8-9th Grade Photo will be printing storyboards in the darkroom
9/12th Grade Advanced Media will be working on a final Book 2017-present
THURSDAY:
Ascension of our Lord -- Liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral and pizza in the park
FRIDAY:
Last Day of School for Graduating Seniors!
5th Spelling and Reading will continue reading Book 3 of Redwall
7/8th Grades English continuing to read "To Kill a Mockingbird," while making connections through poetry.
