Welcome to the Week Ahead!

This week brings continued learning at St. John’s Academy. Although school is closed on Monday for Presidents’ Day, we’ll return on Tuesday to discuss literature and grammar and hold an important parent meeting about the future of our school.

Presidents Day No Classes

No Classes on Monday, February 17th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

Parent Meeting

There will be an important parent meeting on Thursday, February 18th, at 6 PM. Please check your email for details, and if you haven’t received one, contact the office.

For this upcoming week:

English Classes:

  • 4/5 Grammar: Students will learn about predicate adjectives and Pattern 5 in Shurley English.

  • 6th Grade: Continuing the exploration of symbolism in A Wrinkle in Time.

  • 7/8 Grade: Further discussions on racism in To Kill a Mockingbird.
