Week at a Glance (3/13-3/17) Upcoming Field Trip!
Hello and welcome to the new week!
As we enter the third week of Great Lent, we continue our journey of repentance, prayer, and fasting, seeking to draw closer to God and purify our hearts and souls. This week, we focus on the theme of the Holy Cross, reflecting on the sacrifice of Christ and His victory over sin and death.
Now let's look at what the week ahead is going to look like:
MONDAY:
K-1st Grade will start learning about America
9-12th Grade Art/Art History will be testing knowledge learned about Baroque/Rococo Art
2-3th Grade Art will be starting mosaics
TUESDAY:
4/5th Grade Grammar and Vocabulary will complete a project incorporating vocabulary from Classical roots and Shurley concepts.
10-12th Grade Adv. Photo/Media working on lead in articles for magazine articles.
WEDNESDAY:
Field Trip!
7-12th Grades will be going on a field trip to Movement Gym
8-9th Grade Photo will be starting research on storyboards
THURSDAY:
4-5th Grade Art will begin toothpick/ stick sculptures
6-8th Grade Religion will be going over the healing of the leper, the healing of the paralytic in Capernaum, and the calling of Matthew.
Virtual Parent Association meeting to discuss SnapRaise fundraiser at 6:30 PM.
FRIDAY:
9-12th Grade Religion will be going over St. Paul’s address to the presbyters of Ephesus. Paul’s journey to Caesaria.
6-12th Grade P.E. classes working on completing Presidential Physical Fitness Testing
