Hello and welcome to the new week!

As we enter into the first week of Great Lent, Orthodox Christians embark on a journey of spiritual renewal and self-reflection so that we can meet the glorious feast of Pascha. Keeping that in mind let’s look at the week ahead of us. 

Reminder: There is no homework assigned this week. 

Monday:

Start of Great Lent: Mandatory Church Service starts at 6 pm     

5th Grade Science - Learning about the human population and the factors that influence it

Tuesday:

Grades 6-8 Math League Contest

6th Grade Earth Science - Climate vs. weather, and making clouds lab

Mandatory Church Service starts at 6 pm     

Wednesday:

5th grade will watch Mary and Dickon bring the secret garden back to life

7th Grade Math - Average and rate word problems 

Mandatory Church Service starts at 6 pm     

Thursday: 

9/10th Grade Chemistry - Molar heat and enthalpy calculations

4/5th grades will continue classifying pattern 2 sentences

Mandatory Church Service starts at 6 pm     

Friday:

7/8th Grade Life Science - Sustainable resource debate
