Mrs. Nowak awarded Order of the Holy Hierarch and Wonderworker John of Shanghai and San Francisco

On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, Mrs. Helen Nowak, SJA’s dedicated teacher for 17 years, was awarded with the Order of the Holy Heirarch and Wonderworker John of Shanghai and San Francisco, III Degree, by his Eminence Archbishop Kyrill for her 30+ years of service to the Holy Virgin Cathedral community, Sts. Cyrill and Methodius High School, and St. John’s Academy. Besides teaching art, photography, and physical education at SJA, Mrs. Nowak is also the Community Service Coordinator.
