Axios! Axios! Axios!

On Wednesday, November 6th, 2019, the feast day of the “Joy of All Who Sorrow” icon of the Mother of God, Fr. James (now Bishop James) of the Old Holy Virgin Cathedral was consecrated as Bishop of Sonora. Bishop James is a long-time supporter of St. John’s Academy, and many of our students call his parish their home. At the same service, Dr. Raymond (Therapon) Jajeh was ordained to the diaconate. Four of Father Deacon Therapon’s and Matushka Macrina’s seven children currently attend the Academy, and two have already graduated. Axios!
