Week at a Glance 4/1 - 4/5
Hello and welcome to the new week!
Dear Friends & Families,
Did you ever stop to think that learning is bigger than "school." We all know by observing the growth of a child that learning is necessary to live and that wrapped up in life itself is the compulsion to learn. A baby grows to feed itself, talk, walk, and experiment with his/her surroundings through sheer instincts. Schools have a chance to harness this natural and maturing curiosity. At SJA it is a real delight to witness our teachers' creative efforts to capture the natural wonder of learning - when one of our Houses demonstrates mastery of their subjects, the middle and upper school engages in lively debate surrounding a controversial topic, the sweet sound of students performing a new song, or the competitive energy wrapped up in mastering a new game at PE. Our students thrive here because our school utilizes techniques that build upon the wonder that students naturally carry with them throughout life.
Here's to making life-long learners!
