Welcome to the Week Ahead!

As we approach this special week, we are honored to celebrate the Feast Day of the Holy Virgin Cathedral on Wednesday, November 6th. This important day commemorates the beauty of our faith and the intercessions of the Holy Virgin, who guides us in our journey.

For this upcoming week:

Field Trip:

On Tuesday, Nov 5th, there will be a school-wide field trip! Students will attend part of 1st period and all of 7th period.


No School
Due to HVAC repairs, the school will be closed from Wednesday, November 6, to Friday, November 8. Classes will resume on Monday, November 11.

English Classes:

  • 4th Grade: Focusing on expository writing and diving into new grammar rules in Shurley.

  • 5th Grade: Finalizing five-paragraph essays on The Secret Garden.

  • 6th Grade: Starting The Call of the Wild by Jack London, exploring themes of resilience and nature.

  • 7th/8th Grade: Continuing with Tom Sawyer and examining themes of emotional maturity.
