Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and reenergizing holiday break. As we ease back into our school schedule in the new calendar year, it's a time to reconnect, focus on our academic pursuits, and prepare for the exciting activities that lie ahead. Let's embrace the simplicity and embrace the possibilities this week offers.

Now let's look at what the week ahead will bring:


MONDAY:

6th Grade English students will begin reading "A Wrinkle in Time," as well as writing creative stories about time traveling.

6-8th Grade Science will have a review and quiz on chapter 15

TUESDAY:

4-5th Grade is learning about how our Faith engages the 5 senses, with particular study given to sight and sound (iconography and Holy Scripture)

High School English students will continue reading "The Grapes of Wrath," and exploring religious themes presented in the novel.

WEDNESDAY:

4-5th Grade Greek will be learning about body parts in Greek.

7/8th Grade English students will continue reading "Huckleberry Finn" and making comparisons to "Tom Sawyer."

THURSDAY: 

4/5th Grade Science will be going over Newton’s 3 laws of motion

8 math: continue working through translating between standard form and scientific notation, slope practice

Friday: 

2-3th Grade History are learning about the extraordinary life of Sacagewea, who assisted in part of the journeys of Lewis and Clark to the PNW.
